Waterfall
This is less than half a mile from my house, but in a rugged, rocky area so I had never seen it before. I heard the sound and decided to investigate. I hope to be swimming there in a few months.

Really a beautiful little grotto. Completely shaded, private and lush.
I love how you continue to make discoveries so close to home. It reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes.
That's a pretty cool simile. We still do find magical places within a 1/2 hour walk. And, like C&H, a fair bit of the magic is purely in the interpretation. It really does come back to something like "joy is where you find it".
That makes me feel homesick for outside adventures.
